Instructions on how to add networks to Metamask (2 ways)

    You might think adding a network to Metamask is quite complicated.

    Actually you can add any network to Metamask wallet within 5 seconds.

    If we only used Metamask wallet to transact on the Ethereum network, we might have missed a lot of opportunities, right?

    So I would like to show you how to add 5+ different networks to Metamask very quickly and simply.

    Because of the BSC, Avax, and Polygon networks, I already have my own tutorial, so I won't repeat it in this article!

    NOTE: For newbies: The default Metamask wallet runs on Ethereum so you do NOT need to add the ETH network to Metamask anymore!

    How to add network to MetaMask complete and detailed

    To add any network to the Metamask wallet you need to do the following.

    First click on the drop-down arrow next to the default network of the Metamask wallet which is the Ethereum Official Network. Select Add network.

    Then, depending on the network you want to add to your Metamask wallet, fill in the following parameters:

    Add Celo Network to Metamask

    Depending on the mainnet or testnet, you fill in the following parameters in the add network section as above!

    To add ETHW network to Metamask you do the following:

    • Block explorer URL (optional): https://mainnet.ethwscan.com/

    Add Goerli testnet to Metamask wallet

    Goerli is a testnet of Ethereum so you do NOT need to add it to your Metamask wallet.

    It's just that recently, Metamask has hidden testnets so you just need to "hook" it out.

    Add Core TestNet to Metamask

    • Network Name: Core Chain TestNet

    Then you go to this link https://scan.test.btcs.network/faucet to get 1 tCORE!

    How to add network to Metamask automatically

    If you have any difficulty in the process of adding networks to Metamask above, you can use this automatic way!

    First you visit this page: https://chainlist.org/

    Then connect Metamask wallet. Type the network name you want to add to the Metamask then click [Add To Metamask] and you're done. ✅

    This way you can add hundreds of different networks (supported) to both mainnet and testnet Metamask wallets.
